Makers of Dance Energy provide funky dance classes utilising the latest music, teaching techniques, styles and are dedicated to making dance fun and exciting. Hip Hop, street and jazz dance allow students to increase their self belief and confidence through creative teaching that develops co-ordination, flexibility and rhythm. Established in 1999, we were the first providers of street dance in South Wales and continue to lead the way with innovative classes and shows. All our teachers are fully qualified; CRB checked and receive regular training or attend workshops to keep up to date. Class numbers are limited and assistants are also on hand in the younger classes to provide support. Teamwork is encouraged amongst staff and students alike which allows the passion of dance to develop in a safe, friendly and fair environment. A sensational annual show brings all the age groups together. Past shows have included – Around the world in 80 minutes, held at Penyrheol Theatre, Alice’s adventures in Clubland, held at Swansea Grand Theatre. Our next show in 2010 at The Grand Theatre is an adaptation of Wizard of OZ entitled O to the Z. Shows are optional. Fun and Funky, and we offer a free trial. Venues in Brynmill, Llanelli, Penyrheol and Pontardawe.
